Landing in base camp – at Gopeshwar. The homestay gives new natural sustenance, the majority of which is developed in-house. The family has its journal for crisp drain and items. Drive to Govind Ghat through Joshimath (80kms) Trek to Ghangharia (14kms). Ghangaria is a little town while in transit to Hemkund sahib, a prevalent journey site for Sikhs around 6 k.m from here. Valley of Flowers, a national park known for its variety of flowers is around 3 km from this place. It is situated at a height over 10,000feet. It is otherwise called Govinddham. Overnight in Ghangharia.

Trek to Hemkund Saheb (7kms)The high height Lokpal lake, known as Hemkund (4329 pts.) lies in magnificent environs. A precarious trek from Ghangharia drives one to this spot in around four to six hours. It is an essential journey for both Hindus and Sikhs, and additionally for individuals fro mother beliefs. There are a Sikh Gurudwara and a Lakshman sanctuary based on the bank of the lake. As suggested, in the sacred Granth Sahib, Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikh confidence had contemplated the bank of this lake in one of his prior births.
